Bengaluru, November 22: After Arjan Singh Bhullar became the first Indian origin athlete to sign up in the UFC earlier this year, it is now time for first Indian-born Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter, Bharat Khandare to set foot in the octagon.

The 19-year-old, Song's current 3-1 run includes a decision win over Edgars Skrīvers and a good-looking first round knockout in 2016.
While Khandare's last match was in April at the Brave 5 event in Mumbai against Ahmed Faress in a high-profile Bantamweight showdown where he suffered a first-round defeat.
Khandare has racked up four submission wins and one TKO under the Super Fight League banner, fighting at both Bantamweight and Featherweight. Three of the Maharastrian's stoppage wins have come in the first round of the bout.
