First Indian Grand Prix Athletic Meet to have 15 events

Patiala, Feb 20 (UNI) Fifteen events are billed for tomorrow's First Indian Grand Prix Athletic Meet here at the flood-lit NIS synthetic track.

There will be eight events in the men's section----400m, 800m, 15oom, 5000 m, shot put, triple jump, high jump and 50 km. Walk' The women's section will witness seven events including 400m, 800m, 1500m, 5000m, high jump, discus and long jump.

The Meet becomes significance in view of the forthcoming Olympics in Beijing this August.
