Future Group is ponsor for Ireland, Scotland ODIs

Mumbai, May 23 (UNI) PDM Sports and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today announced that Future Group will be the sponsor for the upcoming away series to be held in June-July involving three one-day matches against South Africa in Ireland called the 'Future Cup' and one charity match involving India and Pakistan in Scotland.

This is the first time one single company will exclusively sponsor and leverage 100 per cent of all sponsorship and advertising opportunities on a cricket event.

Indian Cricket Board Vice President Lalit Modi said, the financial deal of the sponsorship is worth USD 6,00,000 per match which the Future Group will be paying the Indian Cricket Board except for the India-Pakistan match which is a charity match for the Prince Charles trust for the Asian Society.

Speaking on the occasion Future Group CEO Kishore Biyani said, we have been associated with cricket in various capacities before. We believe that cricket is here to stay and we as the Future Group are pleased to be associated with the future of cricket in India.

''The future of India is the youth and this is a good opportunity for the young players to showcase their talent to the world,'' he added.
