Gagan, Imran grab another CWG shooting gold

New Delhi, Oct 8: Shooters Gagan Narang and Imran Khan bagged the 16th gold medal for India on Friday, Oct 8 in the 50m 3 position pairs event.

This is the third gold medal grabbed by Gagan Narang. He earlier claimed the precious yellow in 10m air rifle category, after winning the first gold for India alongside Abhinav Bindra in 10m air rifle pair shooting event.

The shooting team of the host country is leading India towards narrowing the gap in the medal tally currently headed by Australia.

The 16th gold medal comes hours after the Indian women's archery team claimed gold in recurve event on Friday, Oct 8.
