Garcia keeps Zaragoza in hunt for Europe with late goal

MADRID, Feb 3 (Reuters) Striker Sergio Garcia today struck late to keep Real Zaragoza in the hunt for Champions League places with a 2-1 win at Espanyol in the Primera Liga.

He sprinted clear on the counter-attack early in the second half to put the visitors ahead and, a minute after Luis Garcia equalised, settled the match after another swift break three minutes from time.

Sixth-placed Zaragoza moved within a point of Atletico Madrid, who are fifth on 36 points level with Valencia in fourth ahead of their clash at the Mestalla later today.

Elsewhere, a Fabian Estoyanoff penalty just before halftime gave Deportivo Coruna a 1-0 win at home to Real Mallorca.

Leaders Barcelona visit Osasuna tomorrow when Sevilla welcome Real Sociedad and Real Madrid host Levante.
