London, Sep.4 (ANI): Soccer legend Paul Gascoigne is at the centre of a row after a charity do for a blind tot was axed.
Two hundred fans paid 15 pounds each for a night with Gazza, 42, at the Clock Tavern in aid of seven-month-old Faith Dodds.
Dad Michael, assistant boss at the pub and mum Kay, both 22, hoped to raise 1,500 pounds in Hebburn, Tyne and Wear, the Sun reports.
Promoter Graeme Forster claimed: "Up until Saturday Paul insisted he would be there. He gave no hint he'd pull out.
"I rang his family and friends and was told he went to Marbella." (ANI)
