German midfielder Ballack keen to acquire glory against ManU

By Staff

London, May 21 : German midfielder Michael Ballack insists he will use the agony of losing a Champions League final to inspire Chelsea to glory against Manchester United tonight.

Ballack believes Chelsea's 2-1 victory over Premier League champions United at Stamford Bridge last month indicates the Blues will dominate in Moscow.

Ballack argues that manager Avram Grant deserves to stay with the club next season.

"I've still got a thorn in my side over losing to Real Madrid with Bayer Leverkusen at Hampden Park back in 2002 and this is my chance of revenge In the competition. United are strong and it will be a really tough game. But I believe we will win because Chelsea are in their best form of the season and our key players are available," The Sun quoted Ballack, as saying.

"The way we beat United at home in the Premier League a few weeks ago gives us massive confidence to repeat that result in Moscow and become champions of Europe," he added.
