German manufactured Foot-bots have a ball at tech fair

London, Mar. 3 (ANI): The team of robots took to the footie field at the world's biggest hi-tech fair in Germany.ccording to The Sun, the four "foot-bots" named Rajesh, Penny, Sheldon and Leonard look like storm troopers but are surprisingly agile and shifted their weight around to allow for proper ball control. he four-some were part of the team that won the Robot Football World Cup in Austria last year.

Their co-inventor Wiebke Sauerland, from the University of Bremen, in north Germany, said: "You programme them and then they do what they have been told to do - normally."

The team will compete in the next robot world cup due to be held in Singapore during this year's real-life World Cup in June. (ANI)
