Beijing, Apr 20 (UNI) India's Gaurav Ghei finished tied 28th with a total of seven over 295 while Gaganjeet Bhullar ended tied 44th in the Volvo China Open here today.
The Delhi golfer, Ghei shot an impressive 75 in the final round and climbed 16 places from his overnight tied 44th spot.
Ghei (76, 69, 75, 75), was the best among Indians as he sank birdies on the third and 10th while he dropped bogeys on the second, fifth, 14th, 17th and 18th.
He was 17 strokes adrift of Ireland's Damien McGrane whose score total was 10 under 278 to emerge as the eventual winner.
The Irishman eased to victory, nine strokes ahead of his nearest competitors - England's Simon Griffiths Oliver Wilson and Michael Lorenzo-Vera (all one under 287) of France.
While Gaganjeet Bhullar (69, 75, 73, 81) was the second best Indian with a score of 10 over 298, SSP Chowrasia (74, 73, 76, 81) finished tied 63rd with a total of 16 over 304.
