Ghei, Lahiri finish tied 49th at Brunei Open

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei, August 24 (UNI) Ace Indian golfer Gaurav Ghei finished the Brunei Open at the tied 49th place alongwith compatriot Anirban Lahiri.

Ghei (71, 65, 73, 75) and Lahiri (70, 68, 71, 75) finished their campaign with identical scores of even par 284.

However, Rahil Gangjee (69, 71, 76, 70), the third Indian in the fray, ended the tournament in tied 58th with a total of two over 286.

Scoring a total of 13 under 271, Australia's Rick Kulacz won the event in a play-off against Chinese Taipei's Lu Wen-teh.
