Ghosal wins first qualifier at CIMB

Chennai, Mar 13 (UNI) National champion Saurav Ghosal won the first qualifying round of the 40,000 Dollar CIMB Kuala Lumpur Squash Open Championship.

According to information received by the Squash Rackets Federation of India here, the 45th ranked Saurav defeated Chong Kam Hing of Malaysia 11-8, 11-7, 10-11, 11-10.

Saurav will meet another Malaysian Timothy Arnold (ranked 114) in the final round of qualifiers at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
