Ghouse-Moser crashes out of Challenger series in Spain

Segovia, Spain, Aug 2 (UNI) The fourth seeded Indo-German pair of Mustafa Ghouse and Frank Moser made a shock exit from the the quarter-finals of the ATP Challenger series tournament here, losing to the unseeded duo of Michel Kratochvil of Switzerland and Giles Muller of Luxembourg.

In a marathon three-setter, Ghouse-Moser duo were stunned by their unfancied rival 6-7, 6-3, 7-10 to advance into the semi-finals of the 125,000 dollar event.

Meanwhile, the other Indian in the fray Rohan Bopanna and his Pakistani partner Aisam-ul Haq Qureshi will take on Olivier Charroin of France and Farrukh Dustov of Uzbekistan in their quarter-final match.

The Indo-Pakistani pair had earlier paired to win consecutive titles in the ATP challenger circuit over last two weeks and will be eyeing to complete their hat-trick here.
