Goa CM congratulates India team

Panaji, Aug 29 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Digamber Kamat tonight congratulated India football team for winning their naiden Nehru Cup.

India beat Syria 1-0 in the final played in New Delhi to clinch the title.

Mr Kamat also congratulated Goan player Mahesh Gawli, who plays for Dempo Sports Club, for being adjudged Man of the Match.
