Golf: Diksha Dagar Leads Indian Challenge At The Dutch Ladies Open 2026

The Ladies European Tour returned on June 19 with the Dutch Ladies Open. Four Indian golfers entered the event seeking stronger results. Diksha Dagar led the group at Goyer Golf & Country Club. The tournament ran from June 19-21 after a two-week break. Players aimed to set form for a busy European summer stretch.

India’s field included Diksha Dagar, Pranavi Urs, Avani Prashanth and Hitaashee Bakshi. The tournament took place in Eemnes in the Netherlands. The week offered ranking points and a chance to climb the Order of Merit. The event also brought many international players back after the mid-season pause.

Diksha Dagar Leads Indian Challenge

Diksha arrived as India’s most proven player on the Ladies European Tour. Diksha was a two-time LET winner and stayed steady this season. Diksha often made the weekend and stayed well placed in standings. Diksha now looked to turn regular cuts into a direct title challenge in the Netherlands.

Pranavi Urs continued adjusting to full-time life on the LET. The Bengaluru golfer showed signs of the form seen earlier in India. The two-week gap offered time to rest before a crowded run of events. Pranavi aimed to use the restart to post a complete week against a strong field.

Avani Prashanth remained in a rookie season and built experience each start. The former world No. 1 amateur adapted to professional golf in Europe. Avani looked to produce four controlled rounds on a demanding course. Each start added lessons against established Tour players and varied summer conditions.

Hitaashee Bakshi played a first full LET season after Qualifying School. The Delhi golfer looked more comfortable with travel and Tour routines. Hitaashee targeted a step forward with a high finish at Goyer. The Dutch stop offered another chance to convert steady play into a bigger result.

American Brianna Navarrosa returned with positive memories from last year. Navarrosa followed an opening 75 with rounds of 68 and 66. That run delivered a tie for second and a best LET finish. Navarrosa expected accurate driving to matter again on the tight, tree-lined layout.

With many tournaments ahead, the Dutch week carried extra value for India’s players. A good result could lift confidence and improve ranking positions. The event also tested form after the two-week pause. The four Indians sought momentum to keep India visible on the Ladies European Tour.
