Grand Gala for 100 day countdown

Hyderabad, May 23 (UNI) A number of sports events will be conducted to mark the countdown for the fourth World military Games to be held here and Mumbai from October 14-21.

Talking to newspersons today, Major General Anil Chaint (Operations and Administration, MWG-07) said, a Vintage car rally, an AP Car Rally and an Aero Show would be held to mark the count down.

He said the AP Car Rally to be flagged off on July 8 will pass through all the districts of Andhra Pradesh to create an awareness among the people.

Competitions in football, handbal volleyball, athletics, sailing, swimming, triathlon, judo, boxing and wrestling and demonstration events in hockey and kabaddi and an exhibition event in polo, and military sports military pentathlon, shooting and parachuting will also be held here and Mumbai.
