She outpaced Olympic 400m gold medallist Marileidy Paulino and Dina Asher-Smith. This win adds to her three gold medals from Paris last year.

In the men's long sprints category, Matthew Hudson-Smith leads after winning the 200m sprint on Saturday. He had earlier secured second place in the 400m race. Meanwhile, Kenny Bednarek dominated the men's short sprints, winning both the 100m and 200m races with times of 10.07 and 20.07 seconds respectively.

The men's long distance race was closely contested, with Grant Fisher narrowly defeating Hagos Gebrhiwet by one point. Fisher won the 5,000m and placed third in the 3,000m race, which Gebrhiwet won after finishing fourth in the initial race.

Ethiopia's Diribe Welteji excelled in the women's short distance events by finishing second in the 800m and winning the 1500m race. In contrast, Kenya's Emmanuel Wanyonyi set a personal best of 3:35.18 in the men's 1500m and secured second place in the 800m to top his category.

The women's short hurdles saw Jamaica's Danielle Williams triumph with a total of 20 points as Paris medallists Jasmine Camacho-Quinn and Masai Russell did not perform as expected. In contrast, France's Sasha Zhoya won his group in the men's race.

Alison Dos Santos delivered an impressive performance in the long hurdles by winning the men's 400m hurdles with a world-leading time of 47.61 seconds. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone also showcased her prowess by completing a sweep on Sunday after winning both her events over two days.

The competition will continue to build an overall table across four events, with Miami hosting the next Slam in early May followed by meets in Philadelphia and Los Angeles.
