Several Indian sports personalities attending the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony have said it feels "great" and "it's an absolute honour" to be part of the historic event taking place on Monday (January 22) in Ayodhya.
Indian olympic medallist shuttler Saina Nehwal as well as former India cricketers Mithali Raj and Anil Kumble were the ones to react during the ceremony in Ram Lalla.

Nehwal, who shared pictures on social media, said that she was lucky to attend the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Ram Lalla in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya and asked people to visit the temple in the near future during an interview with ANI.
"It is a big day for us. I am lucky that I was given a chance to attend the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony. I can't express how happy I am. I want to tell people to come here and visit the temple in the near future," Nehwal was quoted as saying by ANI.
Meanwhile, former India women's skipper Mithali said that all the people wanted this big occasion for a very long time and she added that she was happy to be a part of the "celebration."
"We all wanted this for a very long time. It's just a calling to be here on this big occasion and it's a celebration and we are just happy to be a part of this celebration," Mithali told ANI.
Former India spinner and captain Kumble, on the other hand, said that he was pleased to be there on the occasion andKumble said that he is looking forward to seeking the blessings of Lord Ram, adding that attending the ceremony is a "wonderful feeling".
"Pleased to be a part of this, very historic and looking forward to seeking blessings of Ram Lalla. To be a part of this occasion is itself a wonderful feeling and really blessed. This is my first visit to Ayodhya and I am hoping to come a lot more and seek his divine blessings," Kumble was quoted as saying by ANI.
The Pran Prathistha of Ram Lalla at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya will be held on Monday afternoon in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saints, and a host of distinguished guests.
Sports personalities like MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Ravichandran Ashwin have also been invited to the event, while former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad is already part of the event.
