Ham Seo Hee Plans To Cement Legacy By Capturing ONE Championship Gold

South Korean star Ham Seo Hee continues to reach new heights in her 34-fight career. But ONE Fight Night 14 will be "Hamzzang's" first time featuring in the main attraction of a ONE Championship event.

On that Saturday, 30 September, she'll look to put the icing on the cake and leave with the ONE Interim Atomweight MMA World Title over her shoulder when she meets former two-sport ONE World Champion Stamp Fairtex.

With a wealth of combat sports experience under her belt, Ham refuses to get caught up in the magnitude of her first ONE World Title challenge. Instead, the Busan combatant is sticking to what brought her to the dance.

"I am putting in a lot of effort to get ready for the upcoming fight - like any other one - so I have no regrets when the fight comes," she said. "I am doing my best to prepare in every aspect rather than just preparing separately for one area. But as we both possess striking strengths, I am focusing on training to showcase it during the title fight."

Ham Seo Hee Views ONE Atomweight World Title As 'Final Achievement'

En route to the World Title clash, Ham Seo Hee has remained unbeaten in three promotional appearances. But on top of that, she rides an impressive nine-fight winning streak dating back to 2017.

The 36-year-old has swatted off divisional prospects in Denice Zamboanga and Itsuki Hirata to reach championship contention. And she plans to decorate the remainder of her career in gold as the ONE Atomweight World Champion.

"I can't say who holds the advantage, but I maintain confidence against any opponent. I always aim for the finish and try to fight aggressively. However, I also consider the judges' verdicts and make sure to prepare accordingly," she said.

"I think the ONE Championship belt will be the final achievement. That's why it means a lot to me. I want to continue fighting this level of competition while defending the World Title for a long time."
