Lewis Hamilton expressed unwavering confidence in Ferrari despite their challenging start to the 2025 Formula One season. After moving from Mercedes to Ferrari, Hamilton finished 10th in Australia and won the sprint race at the Chinese Grand Prix. However, he was disqualified from the main race along with Charles Leclerc due to technical violations.
Ferrari's disqualification marked a first in their 1,100 grand prix history where both drivers were excluded from a race. Currently, Ferrari is fifth in the constructors' standings with 17 points, tied with Williams. Red Bull, Mercedes, and McLaren are leading the championship.

Hamilton dismissed rumours about losing faith in his team. "I saw someone say something about whether I'm losing faith in the team, which is complete rubbish," he stated. "I have absolute 100% faith in this team." He acknowledged that there was significant excitement at the year's start but clarified that immediate victories were not his expectation.
The seven-time world champion understood that joining a new team involves adapting to a different culture and environment. He noted that this transition would require time and patience to achieve success.
Hamilton highlighted the challenges of adjusting to a new car's technical aspects. Reflecting on his performance, he said, "On reflection, I was actually quite happy with how I've adapted in just those two races." He recognised the need for further improvement and understanding of the car's unique driving requirements.
Analysing his initial races, Hamilton noted mixed feelings during his debut in Australia. Initially uncomfortable with the car, he found his pace satisfactory over the first two days. The Australian race also marked his first experience driving it in wet conditions, offering valuable learning opportunities.
Hamilton remains committed to improving his performance with Ferrari as he continues to adapt to their car's intricacies. His focus is on understanding all available tools and refining his approach for future races.
