This achievement set a new franchise record for the Clippers. Harden's previous best was 61 points, achieved twice with Houston in 2019. The Clippers' prior record of 52 points was held by Charles Smith and Bob McAdoo.

The Detroit Pistons secured their 12th consecutive win by defeating the Milwaukee Bucks 129-116. Cade Cunningham led with 29 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds.
