Haryana, Kerala win gold in volleyball

Guwahati, Feb 14 (UNI) Haryana and Kerela clinched gold medals in the men's and women's volleyball competitions respectively in the 33rd National Games here.

Haryana came back from behind to beat Services in a gruelling five setter 19-25, 19-25, 25-18, 25-17, 21-19 in the men's final last evening. Kerela won the Bronze, defeating Tamil Nadu in straight sets 25-22, 25-20, 32-30.

In the women's final, Kerala scored an emphatic victory over defending champions Tamil Nadu 25-20, 25-16, 25-14 to take the gold while Bengal bagged the bronze defeating host Asom 25-20, 25-16, 25-14.
