London, Jul 19: Tainted golfer, Tiger Woods' disappointing performance at the British Open has left several wondering if the sex scandal has forever taken away the legendary 'Tiger' of golf course.

The golfer himself has expressed disappointment and annoyance over the way he has performed at St Andrews.

"That has been the story of my week. As soon as I got something going, I would somehow find a way to stop the momentum," he is quoted as saying in The Sun.

"I knew the start I needed and, after pulling back two shots on the first three, I needed to keep it going. But that didn't happen," he added.

After the personal life disaster that followed the Thanksgiving 2009 accident, Tiger Woods has failed to clinch even a single event all season.

However, no matter how big the scandal and no matter how dirty the secrets, Tiger Woods is still holding on to the world No 1 spot.
