New Delhi, Oct.9 (ANI): Off-spinner Nathan Hauritz, Australia's No. 1 tweaker, has declared that he has plenty of fuel in the tank to help the NSW Blues chase down the three million dollar Champions League title in India.
The Twenty20 tournament kicked off in India last night, but Hauritz - along with seven other internationals, including Brett Lee and Twenty20 specialist David Warner - tonight start the Blues' campaign against South Africa's Diamond Eagles.
Sydney-based Hauritz, 27, said:. "There's nothing better than playing for your state and country."
Hauritz has bowled nearly 290 overs since the tour of South Africa in March. But three Tests, three Twenty20s and 23 one-dayers later, the tweaker is confident he can do well for NSW on the spin-friendly Indian pitches.
"In Twenty20, you're only in the field for just over an hour, so your body isn't under too much pressure," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Hauritz, as saying.
"It was fantastic to win the Champions Trophy, but it would also be great to win the Champions League given it is the first tournament," he added. (ANI)
