Haye to box out biggest heavyweight fight at Wembley

By Super Admin

London, Nov 10(ANI): World heavyweight champion David Haye could be heading for Wembley in one of the biggest heavyweight fights ever, his manager revealed.

Haye, Britain's sixth world heavyweight champion, has become the sport's hottest property since beating Russian giant Nikolai Valuev on Saturday and companies are looking to sign the star for their shows.

"I've already had Wembley Stadium contacting me. David and a Klitschko brother would be one of the biggest fights in heavyweight history," The Sun quoted Adam Booth, Haye's manager, as saying.

After the title, firms are scrambling to sign up the hunk, who stands to rake in at least 20 million pounds from defending his crown as well as sponsorship, television rights and advertising deals.

The 29-year-old would be backed by Richard Schaefer, boss of American firm Golden Boy Promotions.

"A Klitschko fight could happen next year. Our American promoter, Richard Schaefer, has already had some interest from some big players regarding venues," Booth said.

"On Sunday I got a call from the MGM Mirage group of hotels and casinos, who would love a big heavyweight fight in Las Vegas again," he added. (ANI)
