Heavy rush for tickets
Visakhapatnam, Feb 14 (UNI) The sale of tickets, for the fourth one-day international cricket match between India and Sri Lanka slated to be on February 17, have seen an heavy rush here today.
The cricket lovers in the town stood in long queues in the e-seva counters. The following day being Maha Shivaratri a holiday, Vizagites were very eager to witness team India's performance, before the big event World Cup 2007 in Caribbean.
The heavy rush was brought under control by police, under the supervision of City Police Commissioner.
The number of tickets to be sold was more than 20,000 and the denomination of tickets varied between Rs 3,000 and Rs 200.
An aged woman told UNI that she had come to buy tickets for her grand children whereas a young girl said she wanted to enjoy the match in the staduim.
