Heena Khandelwal rallies to down Rusi Antia in snooker tourney

Mumbai, May 5 (UNI) Fancied Heena Khandelwal survived an early scare before rallying to an exciting 2-1 win in the Rexello Castors-Islam Gymkhana Open Handicap&Invitation Snooker Tournament 2007 at the Islam Gymkhana here today.

Khandelwal (+55) dropped a close opening frame against Rusi Antia (+55) before rallying to a 106-110, 111-74, 101-92 win that included a tight decider in the best-of-three-frames contest.

On a day of close encounters, CCI's Kekoo Nicholson (+55) overcame Rahul Chandan (+60) 122-105, 93-104, 120-108.

Formidable Kaizad Fitter (+45) of Bombay Gymkhana got past Manjit Singh (+60) 109-100, 105-89, while Rovin D'Souza (+40) beat Chetan Chabbra (+50) 100-85, 109-102 in keen matches.
