After over 20 years with Red Bull, Helmut Marko announces his departure. His tenure included six Constructors' Championships and eight Drivers' Championships.

Helmut Marko, a key figure at Red Bull, has decided to part ways with the team after more than two decades. He joined as an advisor when Red Bull entered Formula One in 2005 and took on a similar role with Toro Rosso in 2006. His contributions were instrumental in securing six Constructors' Championships and eight Drivers' Championships for the team.

Marko's influence was crucial in retaining Max Verstappen amid speculation about his future. Verstappen, who regards Marko as a father figure, narrowly missed out on a fifth consecutive title to McLaren's Lando Norris in 2025. This outcome influenced Marko's decision to step down.
