Vani Kapoor and Tvesa Malik share the lead after two rounds of the fourth leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour 2026 at Poona Club Golf Course, Pune. Both players reach 3-under 139, setting up a close final-round contest on February 19 with several challengers close behind.

Earlier co-leader Ridhima Dilawari drops from the top but stays in contention. A second-round 72 leaves Ridhima at 2-under 140 in tied third place. Former Hero Order of Merit winner Sneha Singh moves into joint third as well after producing the day’s standout card of 67.

Vani, winner of the Hero Order of Merit in 2025, compiles a steady second-round 70. Vani mixes two birdies with two bogeys on the first eight holes, then birdies the ninth to turn in 1-under 34. A birdie on 11 and bogey on 14 complete a composed round.

Tvesa, champion in the previous week’s event, keeps hopes alive for consecutive titles. Tvesa starts well with a birdie on the first, then strings together six pars. A double-bogey on the eighth sends Tvesa to 1-over at the turn, before three birdies and two bogeys on the back nine give an even-par 71.

Sneha produces a bogey-free 67, the lowest round so far this week. Four birdies between the ninth and 13th power Sneha’s move up the board. Combined with an opening 73, Sneha’s total of 140 matches Ridhima, who had shared the first-round lead with Tvesa.

Behind the leading quartet, three players sit three shots adrift at 3-over 145. Neha Tripathi posts a 70, while amateur Lavanya Gupta returns a 73 and amateur Anuradha Chaudhuri signs for 75. Jasmine Shekar holds eighth place alone after a 74 leaves Jasmine at 5-over 147.

The chasing pack continues with five players tied for ninth at 148. That group features Nayanika Sanga, who cards 70, along with Jahanvi Bakshi on 71. Amateurs Lavanya Jadon and Vidhatri Urs, plus Durga Nittur, each shoot 73 or 75 to remain within nine shots of the lead.

The field for this fourth leg is the largest of the 2026 season so far, with 49 starters. The event offers a purse of Rs.17 lakhs. After the second round, the cut is set at 156, and 32 players survive to contest the third and final round at Poona Club Golf Course.

The final-day groups reflect the tight battle at the top. Vani, Tvesa and Sneha form the lead three-ball in the last tee time. One stroke behind, Ridhima joins Neha and amateur Lavanya in the penultimate group, aiming to challenge the leaders during the closing round.
