HOA polls for office bearer not held today

Chandigarh, Sep 25 (UNI) The elections of Haryana Olympic Association scheduled for today were not held in compliance with the orders of a Civil Court of Sirsa, HOA sources said here.

Mrs Alka Malik, Civil Judge, Senior Division, Sirsa has restrained RR Jowel, IAS, Administrator, HOA from convening a general body meeting today for holding the election of new office bearers.

The orders were pronounced in a civil suit, Haryana Archery versus R R Jowel in the presence of Government pleader of Haryana State.

The next date of hearing is October 4.
