Una, Oct 16 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh secured a lead of 13 runs against Jammu and Kashmir on the first day of the two-day senior Women's cricket league match being played at the Indira stadium here.
Batting first, Jammu and Kashmir were all out for 93 runs in 40.5 overs.
For Himachal, Shivani wrapped up the opposition's tail, claiming four wickets in a spell of 3.5 overs, while Meenu top scored for Jammu and Kashmir with 20 runs before being run out.
At stumps, Himachal Pradesh were 106 for the loss of eight wickets with Nayan Katoch on 17 and Bharati five still at the crease.
Jammu and Kashmir's Meenu claimed five wickets in 10 overs conceding 28 runs.
