George Jarvis is on the verge of becoming ONE World Champion, but first, he must defeat the most decorated Muay Thai and kickboxing fighter in ONE history at ONE Fight Night 34.
On 2 August, "G-Unit" will challenge reigning ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Champion Regian Eersel in the main event at Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Stadium as the Suriname superstar puts his crown on the line for the third time.

For his part, Eersel has been ruling the sport since earning a hard-fought title win over Thai striker Sinsamut Klinmee in 2022. Jarvis claims that his 32-year-old opponent is more of a kickboxer than a Muay Thai fighter.
"He's not a Muay Thai fighter. He's obviously fought Muay Thai for a long time. He's a kickboxer," Jarvis said. "When you're fighting Muay Thai, it's a different ball game, especially in small gloves, when I can grab him and elbow him and clinch him up."
With a professional record of 27-4, WBC Muay Thai World Champion Jarvis has become a force to be reckoned with in "the art of eight limbs." He revealed that he has been practicing Muay Thai for over two decades.
"I've been a Muay Thai fighter for twenty plus years, so he can't beat my Muay Thai just after an eight-week camp. That's where my confidence comes from," Jarvis said.
The 25-year-old began in ONE with a loss in his debut fight, but within a year, he earned a main roster contract by knocking out Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong. Now, with his game plan locked in for the title fight, Jarvis is ready to come out with all guns blazing.
"If I had to put my money on it, he's going to come out and try to stick it on me early. I'm going to absorb a bit of his punishment to start off with and then come back. And I reckon I'll finish him by round three," Jarvis said.
"I'm not going in there to beat him on points and take a split decision. I want to go in there and take him out within a few rounds and really make a statement at this."
