IAF humble Garhwal Diamond 6-0 in the Uttranchal Cup

New Delhi, July 18 (UNI) A hat-trick by Edwin helped Indian Air Force (IAF) trounce Garhwal Diamond 6-0 in the group-A league match of the third Uttranchal Cup football tournament here today.

G S Sandhu opened the scores for IAF in the 16th minute. After that the floodgates were opened with Edwin, playing inside-right, scoring in the 27th, 35th, 37th and 39th minutes.

In the 43rd minute, Sandhu scored again to complete the misery of Garhwal Diamond.

In a another match of group-D, Youngmen SC were held to a goalless draw by hosts Uttranchal Heroes to split points.
