Imphal triumphs in inter SAI weight lifting champs

Visakhapatnam, Sep 9 (UNI) Imphal lifted the overall championship in the sixth all India inter Sports Authority of India (SAI) weight lifting tournament at Rajiv Gandhi Port indoor stadium here today.

In the junior girls section, Minati Sethi of Bangalore and in sub junior girls section, S Bala Devi of Imphal were adjudged the best lifters.

In senior women category, Kabita Devi of Lucknow was adjudged the best lifter.

In the boys section, Raj Kumar of Puducherry, in junior section Ajaydeep Sarang of Bangalore and in senior men section K Vinodh of Puducherry were selected as the best lifters.
