Inaugural all India U-19 rugby tournament begins tomorrow

Mumbai, Jun 15 (UNI) The inaugural under-19 All India Club 7-a-side rugby tournament will get underway at the Bombay Gymkhana tomorrow.

This tournament assumes importance as it is being seen as an effort to groom talent keeping in mind the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. This will be an ideal setting to identify talent that would be the future Indian team.

A 16 club strong field will take part in the two day tournament with representation from Chennai, Orissa, Jammu and Kashmir, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai.
