The long-awaited showdown for the inaugural ONE Women's Strawweight Kickboxing World Title between Anissa Meksen and Jackie Buntan finally has a date set in stone, and fans can look forward to the bout in just four weeks.
The fierce females will lock horns at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Saturday, 9 November, inside Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Stadium, where the two will duke it out to decide who becomes ONE Championship's first-ever strawweight kickboxing queen.

They were first set to throw down for the crown this past July at ONE Fight Night 23 - that was until Buntan was forced to withdraw due to injury. But now fully back to fighting fitness, the Filipina-American is making up for lost time.
Buntan enters the high-stakes clash in tremendous form, boasting a 6-1 record across her time in ONE Championship. Her only bump in the road came against Smilla Sundell at ONE 156 in April 2022, when they collided for the vacant women's strawweight Muay Thai belt.
Since that night two and a half years ago, the 27-year-old's stock has continued to rise, having set up a three-fight winning streak against the likes of Amber Kitchen, Martine Michieletto, and a first-round knockout over Diandra Martin.
Those notable performances have allowed her to rise back up the ranks and earn this prolific shot at gold as she looks to capture her first ONE World Title. But her foe is as accomplished as they get.
Meksen has collected a litany of accolades throughout her storied career, and she knows that adding a ONE World Title to her resume will cement her as an all-time great.
The French-Algerian arrived in ONE in 2021 before going on a three-fight winning streak against Cristina Morales at ONE: EMPOWER in September 2021, Marrie Ruumet at ONE 156 in April 2022, and Dangkongfah Banchamek at ONE on Prime Video 2 that following October.
But her momentum met its fate at the hands of "The Queen" Phetjeeja for the ONE Interim Kickboxing Atomweight World Championship last December at ONE Friday Fights 46 across a five-round affair.
And after tasting defeat for the first time, "C18" will be desperate to return to the win column - and there's no better time or place than to do so in Lumpinee Stadium at ONE 169 with the inaugural women's strawweight kickboxing crown up for grabs.
