India and Pakistan teams arrive at Jaipur

Jaipur, Nov 16 (UNI) India and Pakistan cricket teams arrived here this evening to play their fifth and last one-day tie at the picture asque Sawai Man Singh Stadium on Sunday.

Both teams have been lodged in a hotel. They are scheduled to go for net practice tomorrow in the afternoon.

The teams, which were scheduled to land here at the Sanganer Airport at 3 pm, got delayed by about two hours. The local mediaman failed to talk to the players as they were not allowed to approach them. A few hundred spectators over willing to have a close look at their heros were also disappointed with the teams leaving by buses from within airport. However, master blaster Sachin Tandulkar and Pak speedster Shoib Akhtar were seen waving their fans from their windows.

The whole city is in the grip of cricket fever with hundreds of students and other cricket lovers still making efforts to purchase tickets for the match. The tickets are very much in the demand despite the fact that India had already established an unassailable 3-1 lead against Pakistan in the five match series.

The local administration has made tight security arrangements for the match at the venue of the match and as well as the hotel.
