India beat Portuguese 3rd Div side Recreativo Agueda 3-0
New Delhi, July 23 (UNI) Skipper Baichung Bhutia strucked two second half goals to lead Indian national team to a convincing 3-0 victory over Portuguese third division side Recreativo Agueda in Lisbon in their second game of the exposure-cum -training tour of the Iberian country.
India led 1-0 at the half time through a goal scored by Manjit Singh in the 27th min. Bhutia added two more in the 63rd and 86th minutes, in the match played at Municipal Stadium yesterday, according to information received here today.
The touring team had drawn 1-1 with Second Division side Odivelas FC in their first game on July 19 and will take on another Third Division side AC Marinhense on July 26.
On July 28, the national team will play against long time Portuguese Super Liga side and now a top second level league side Estoril Praia.
The team will also visit famous Portuguese side Benfica's stadium Estadio da Luz (Stadium of Light) on the invitation of multiple Super Liga champion side's president before returning home on July 31.
