India calls off Zimbabwe tour

New Delhi, Apr 8 (UNI) In view of the hectic schedule, Indian cricket team's tour of Zimbabwe for a three-match one-day series in June has been called off.

The heavy calendar has resulted in cancelling the tour and the BCCI has informed the Zimbabwe Cricket Union about their decision.

After the Indian Premier League (IPL) concludes, team India will take part in a tri-series to be held in Bangladesh from June 8 to 14. Pakistan is the third team for this tourney.

Indian team will then go to Pakistan for the Asia Cup. It will be followed by a tour of Sri Lanka.

The Champions Trophy is slated for August-September in Pakistan.
