India claimed a world title and a gold medal at the Global Esports Games in Mumbai. Anuhith Gosala secured gold in Clash Royale after a tight final. India also finished with bronze in the DOTA 2 championship finals. Türkiye won the DOTA 2 gold after a decisive grand final.
Gosala defeated Miras of Kazakhstan 3-2 in the Clash Royale finals. The match featured repeated lead changes across five games. India’s win came in front of a full arena in Mumbai. The result delivered India’s top finish of the event and a major home win.

India reached the Clash Royale grand final from the lower bracket. India edged the USA 2-1 in the lower bracket final. Kazakhstan had booked the final earlier. Kazakhstan beat India 2-0 in the upper bracket final on the previous day.
The grand final again went down to the last game. Gosala closed the series 3-2 against Miras. The victory reversed India’s earlier upper bracket defeat. It also confirmed India’s gold in the Clash Royale competition. Fans in Mumbai followed every swing in momentum.
India’s DOTA 2 team earned bronze after falling to Mongolia in the lower bracket final. Mongolia then met Türkiye in the grand final. Türkiye won the title match 3-1. That result gave Türkiye the gold medal in DOTA 2 at the Mumbai finals.

The event was organised by Eflag Corp and the Global Esports Federation, with support from Maharashtra Tourism. The Global Esports Games Mumbai was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis. Mumbai hosted 48 athletes from 19 countries over four days. The finals ended with the next Global Esports Games set for Los Angeles 2026.
