India score comfortable win over Sri Lanka, level series
Margao, Feb 14 (UNI) India suffered a mini batting collapse before Rahul Dravid and Mahendra Singh Dhoni guided India to a comfortable five-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in the third one-dayer at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, here today.
India, who were set a target of 231 for victory, made 233 in 46.3 overs to romp home with five wickets and 3.3 overs to spare.
With this win, India leveled the series 1-1 after losing the second one-dayer at Rajkot by five runs and the first at Kolkata being washed out.
Now both teams will proceed to Vizag for the decider to be played on February 17.
