India Steps into Esports Spotlight with Inaugural GTA V Rumble Invitational

Mumbai, May 16: In a groundbreaking announcement, SoulCity's GTA V division, in collaboration with Rooter and the Indonesia GTA V Masters Championship (IGMC), has unveiled India's first-ever GTA V Rumble Invitational.

This tournament promises to be a battleground where seasoned GTA V veterans and emerging talents clash to make their mark in the nation's burgeoning esports scene.

GTA V Rumble Invitational Prize Pool

With a total prize pool of INR 2 lakh up for grabs, the GTA V Rumble Invitational will witness the participation of 20 teams -10 invited and 10 qualified- engaging in fierce competition across the iconic GTA V map. The innovative 'Battleground' concept will add a fresh dimension to gameplay, offering an exhilarating experience for both participants and spectators alike.

Scheduled from May 17 to June 9, the tournament's format includes open qualifiers from May 17-19 and May 24-26, followed by playoffs on May 31 to June 2, and concluding with the grand finals from June 7-9. Integral to the event's success is the support from IGMC, providing a dedicated GTA V server, broadcasting resources, and technical assistance tailored to meet regional requirements.

SoulCity, backed by S8UL's expertise, has been instrumental in fostering the growth of the GTA V community in India. Spearheaded by industry veteran Kumar Swetank, SoulCity brings a wealth of experience in branding, marketing, and distribution to the table, ensuring the GTA V Rumble Invitational's success.

The tournament will feature ten invited teams, comprising renowned GTA V streamers and servers, such as PitajiPlayz, HeadFlicker, Rusherw0w, and more. Additionally, teams of four can register for the open qualifiers through the SoulCity Discord server, ensuring inclusivity and participation from all corners of the gaming community.
