India wants Bolt to scorch the tracks in CWG 2010

By Super Admin

New Delhi, Sep 29: Besides the practical hurdles that the country has to face in preparing for and successfully hosting the Commonwealth Games 2010, India is apparently fighting hard to get the record breaking athlete, Usain Bolt to scorch the tracks of the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the nation's capital.

In a bid to get the cricket-crazy country excited about the Commonwealth Games, India has launched a campaign to get Bolt to participate in the event.

Speaking to a group of corporate chiefs, Suresh Kalmadi, chairman of the organising committee said, "We are looking for an Indian sponsor for Bolt."

India is ready to pay big bucks to woo the Jamaican athlete, who recently won the 100m and 200m double at both the Beijing Olympics and the world championships with world record timings.

Reports say that the fastest man on the planet has left the decision to his coach Glen Mills.
