India wins 15th gold in Commonwealth Games

New Delhi, Oct 8: Indian women archery team has won gold in team recurve event in Commonwealth Games on Friday, Oct 8.

Indian women team defeated England in the final to grab country's 15th gold medal in Delhi mega event. The Indian team of Dola Banerjee, Deepika Kumar, and Bombayala Laishram scored 207 points against England's 206.

With this win, India narrowed its gap against Australia who leads in medal tally with 33 gold, 19 silver and 18 bronze. India has 15 gold, 11 silver and 9 bronze.
