Anju jumped to a distance of 6.55 metre to claim the top spot in the women's long jump on Monday, June 30. The men's and women's 4x400m relay teams won their respective events clocking 3:07.09s and 3:33.08s respectively. However, the latest timing by the Indian men's team does give them a chance to qualify for the Olympics. Satyendra Singh claimed his second gold medal on the circuit with 17.84m in the shot put.
