Indian Athletics Final Series: Animesh Kujur Completes Sprint Double, Harita Bhadra Records 2nd-Fastest Indian 100m
The inaugural Indian Athletics Final Series in New Delhi witnessed several impressive performances as athletes geared up for the upcoming Asian Games.
Athletes supported by the Reliance Foundation dominated the competition, recording 10 victories, nine runner-up finishes and five third-place finishes across events.

Among the standout performers was Animesh Kujur, who underlined his Asian Games credentials by completing a sprint double. He won the men's 100m in 10.21 seconds before returning to claim the 200m title in 20.59 seconds.
Harita Bhadra produced one of the most significant performances of the competition, winning the women's 100m in 11.22 seconds. The performance made her the second-fastest Indian woman ever over the distance, further highlighting her remarkable progress this season. Bhadra, who trains at the Jio Institute in Navi Mumbai, has consistently performed strongly in both the 100m and 200m at the national level.
Reliance Foundation athletes also dominated the sprint podiums. Kujur and Gurindervir Singh finished first and second in the men's 100m, while Bhadra and Abinaya Rajarajan achieved the same in the women's event. Both Bhadra and Abinaya clocked personal bests.
Kujur, Jishnu Prasad and Abhay Singh completed a Reliance Foundation clean sweep of the men's 200m podium.
Asian Games-bound athletes Ancy Sojan, Mohammed Afsal, Karthik Unnikrishnan, Anu Raghavan and Aadarsh Ram also won their respective events. Sojan continued her unbeaten run in women's long jump with a best effort of 6.76m, while Afsal recorded a season-best 1:46.40 in the men's 800m.
Anu Raghavan won the women's 400m hurdles in 57.23 seconds, while Karthik and Aadarsh prevailed in the triple jump and high jump respectively. Lili Das added another notable performance, winning the women's 800m with a season-best 2:03.41.
