Indian judokas win four gold medals in Commonwealth Judo champ

New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) Putting up a spirited display, Indian junior judo players claimed four gold, one silver and one bronze medal in the 12th Commomwealth Judo Championships being held in Mauritius.

According to information received here, Sandeep (56 Kg) and Yaima Singh (81 Kg) were the winners in their respective weight categories in the junior boys' competition.

Manjeet Nandal (66 Kg) claimed silver while Rajinder Singh won the bronze medal in the 90 Kg category.

Meanwhile, in the junior girls' event, O Bindya Laxmi Devi and Garima Chaudhary won gold in the 44 Kg and 63 Kg categories respectively.

The finals of the senior category will be held tomorrow.
