Indian Open Jumps 2026: India's promising long jumper Mubassina Mohammed clinched the women's long jump gold at the Fifth Indian Open Jumps Competition held at the Anju Bobby George Foundation campus in Bengaluru on Sunday.
The 20-year-old athlete, representing the Anju Bobby George Sports Foundation, delivered a consistent series before sealing the title with a best jump of 6.38 metres, surpassing her previous personal best of 6.36m.

Mubassina maintained steady form throughout the event with attempts measuring 6.18m, 6.24m, 6.29m, 5.81m, 6.15m, and 6.38m, with her final effort securing the top spot on the podium.
Bhavani Yadav of the Railways claimed the silver medal with a jump of 6.27m, while Kusuma Ravada, also representing the Anju Bobby George Sports Foundation, finished third with 6.08m to take bronze.
