India-Pakistan rivalry enters MMA after India's Anshul Jubli has responded to Pakistan's Rizwan Ali's call out, saying "if you ever make it to the UFC, I would love to fold you in front of the whole world."

Following the third round stoppage win, Rizwan took an aim at the Indian UFC star Anshul by saying, "Anshul Jubli where are you at baby? I'm coming for you. Let's go."

The Indian MMA athlete Anshul, who landed a UFC contract by winning the Road to UFC Season 1, took to his social media account to respond to the call out, reminding the Pakistani fighter that he is part of the UFC as the RTU champion.

"Last night, a Pakistan MMA fighter called me out in his post fight speech. He said 'he's coming for me, he's aiming for me'. My padosi (neighbour) brother Rizwan Ali. I'm a UFC fighter," Jubli said in a video posted on his Instagram account.

"I got there through Road to UFC, where the best fighters from Asia compete and the champion of the tournament gets a UFC contract. I'm the champion. If you ever make it to the UFC, I would love to fold you in front of the whole world. But, until then..." Anshul told Rizwan to remain silent.

Anshul Jubli, who is 7-1-0 in his MMA career, earned his UFC contract by stopping Indonesia's Jeka Saragih in the Road to UFC season 1 final in February 2023, but the Indian MMA athlete lost on his UFC debut last year in October 2023.

The 29-year-old, who made his name in MMA thorugh Matrix Fight Night (MFN), went down to Mike Breeden on the under card of UFC 294 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on October 21, 2023.

Rizwan Ali, on the other hand, is 8-0 in his MMA career, with Brave CF 85 being his latest fight appearance. Earlier, the Pakistani MMA athlete has competed in Karate Combat and International Fighting Tournament (ITF).
