White praised her team's resilience and determination. Caitlin Clark made a significant impact on her return from a quadricep injury, scoring 32 points, which is her season-high.

Caitlin Clark had been absent for five games due to her injury. During this period, Indiana managed a 2-3 record. In the game against New York Liberty, Clark scored 25 of her 32 points in the first half alone. She also contributed nine assists and eight rebounds. Her shooting was impressive, finishing 11-for-20 and tying her career-high with seven successful three-pointers out of 14 attempts.

Fever Celebrate Strong Win Against Liberty

The Fever set a new franchise record by making 17 three-pointers out of 35 attempts, achieving a shooting percentage of 48.6%. This victory improved their season record to an even 5-5. Despite this achievement against one of the league's top teams, White cautioned her players against becoming overly excited.

White emphasised that winning is challenging and requires navigating through various challenges. "It hasn't been easy, and it's not going to be," she stated. The team draws strength from each other and continues to build trust daily.

Currently sitting third in the Eastern Conference standings, the Fever are preparing for their next home game against the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday. Coach White remains focused on maintaining momentum while ensuring that the team stays grounded despite recent successes.

White highlighted the importance of resilience and teamwork in overcoming obstacles throughout the season: "This group, they stay together. They draw strength from one another; I draw strength from them." The Fever aim to continue their progress as they face upcoming challenges in their schedule.
