Indo-Bangla games to commence from Feb 24

Asansol, Feb 8 (UNI) A six-day Indo-Bangladesh Games will start from February 24 in Kolkata and Asansol.

Altogether 160 players, including 36 women of Bangladesh team, will take part in the games.

Of the eight items, seven - Athletics, Football, Swimming, Volleyball, Kabadi, Basketball and Kho-kho - would be held in Kolkata, while only Rifle shooting is fixed for Asansol (Chandmari shooting range).

'' It will be the first international shooting meet in Asansol when 16 sharp shooters, including eight women of Bangladesh, will arrive here on February 24 by bus from Kolkata, '' Burdwan district Rifles Association secretary Niranjan Roy said today.
